Metallica in Peru

Metallica played in Peru this past week and sold 50,000+ tickets. They are another band in the line of 80′s & 90′s rock and roll bands that have gone to this rock&roll loving South-American crowd. I’ve written often about the ability for bands in the USA to sell massive numbers of tickets to audiences outside the United States. These are enthusiastic fans who know the music and are willing to pay a sixth or more of their monthly salary for a concert ticket.
