Pandora’s Box of Concert Promotion

The hugely popular iPhone application, Pandora, has added a new feature to their service. Pandora is an internet radio that recommends songs based upon bands that you like. Pandora is now partnering with SonicLiving to include concert listings for bands while their music is streaming on Pandora.
Pandora’s Chief Technical Officer, Tom Conrad, had this to say:
“Pandora is dedicated to providing the best music experience possible, whether recorded or live, which is why we’ve chosen SonicLiving to power our sponsored concert listings. SonicLiving has made it much easier for our listeners to find out where and when their favorite bands are playing.”
The application on the iPhone is one of the top downloaded apps for Apple. This partnership adds another great reason for artists to get their music up on Pandora.
