YouTube, the massive user-generated streaming video site, is establishing a second life which will be called YouTube Live. Google-owned YouTube will begin to be the generators of the content on the new YouTube Live service, which will begin on November 22nd of this year. The reason behind this new YouTube ‘channel’ is to provide original content and control the video selection to the most popular videos and personalities. I’m sure this will be more effective in directing advertising money.
